The Bruce Telecom Young Entrepreneur Award is a special recognition, designed to honor individuals under the age of 35 who have not only ventured into the world of entrepreneurship but have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, innovation in business skills, proactive employee and customer relations, and community leadership.

This year the nominees for this award were:
Erin Nichol
Erin graduated from Western University with a Master’s of Clinical Audiology. Erin has over 5 years of experience. Her goal for Lake Huron Audiology is to foster a community hub where families will have access to strategies and local resources which will help them overcome their own communication barriers.
Matthew Brown
Born and raised in Kincardine, Mathew owns United Huron Construction, MTD Consultants INC, and is co-owner of Stoic Strength Academy. He prides himself in showing clients and the community that young entrepreneurs can work hard to build a business and make a difference.
Zackery Eybergen
Zacks entrepreneurial journey started at age 10, cutting lawns. Every year he added more clients and more services to offer like raking leaves, plowing snow, leveling driveways and building flower beds. His inspiration comes from his grandfather and his parents. Now at 20, he is the owner of Eybergen Landscaping, that employs 5 people while continuing to expand his knowledge by taking the Landscape Design course at the University of Guelph.
This award is not just about acknowledging business acumen; it’s about recognizing the dedication, passion, and community-minded spirit that young entrepreneurs bring to their ventures. Bruce Telecom understands that building a successful business goes beyond financial achievements; it encompasses creating a positive workplace culture, fostering strong customer relationships, and contributing meaningfully to the community.
