16th Annual Community Living and District Charity Golf Classic

Community Living Kincardine & District hosted their 16h annual CLKD Charity Golf Classic at the Ainsdale Golf Course in Kincardine to support of over 150 individuals in our community living with a developmental disability.

Community Living Kincardine & District is a charitable organization striving to create a welcoming and accessible community that embraces people of all disabilities. Bruce Telecom was thrilled to be the sponsor for the putting contest at this event. Not only did we raise money from people entering the putting contest, we also got to work with incredible individuals from CLKD.

The tournament raised about $21,233 at the 16th annual Charity Golf Classic held Friday, July 19, at Ainsdale Golf Course which exceeded their goal of $15,000. This year, funds raised will go toward the purchase of a generator for the Saratoga home to ensure uninterrupted power for important medical equipment and mobility devices during power outages.

The event drew 80 golfers for a glorious round of play under a sunny sky. There was also a silent auction for participants to place their bids and take home some great prizes.
