Saugeen Memorial Healthcare Foundation

The 8th annual 97.9 The Bruce Light The Way Radiothon in support of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is an all-day long event from 6am-6pm rases money to purchase equipment for the local hospital. This year the foundation raised money for cardiac monitors for inpatients and also for the renovation and expansion of the nurses station, which hasn’t been updated since the 1960s.

The day was filled with a lot of fun and fundraising, and Bruce Telecom was proud to make a donation towards this initiative.

This year, thanks to a lot of amazing donors, ,they raised just over $231,500 to support local healthcare.

The importance of supporting organizations like this symbolizes a commitment to better healthcare, ensuring that local Saugeen Shores residents have access to the best medical care.
