The 9th annual 97.9 The Bruce Light The Way Radiothon in support of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is an all-day long event from 6am-6pm rases money to purchase equipment for the local hospital. Donations from this event ensure that the local hospital has the resources it needs to provide top-quality care right here in our community. The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation rely on your generosity to fund vital equipment, expand services, and keep healthcare close to home. The day was filled with a lot of fun and fundraising even though there was severe blizzard conditions. Some donors found their way into the station while others donated over the phone and online.Bruce Telecom is proud to make a donation towards this initiative every year.

This year, thanks to a lot of amazing donors, their rough estimate for the radiothon was $185,000.00 to support local healthcare.
