Bruce Telecom has received reports of cell phones switching to SOS and mobility service being down Between Tiverton and Southampton. We are also experiencing an outage on our Northbound telephone call routes to Bell Canada. This may result in intermittent calling issues for customers attempting to make Long Distance calls, particularly to Bell Canada/Bell Mobility telephone numbers. We apologize for the difficulty. How to set up your email on iPhone or iPad

Open settings from iPhone or iPad screen.


Scroll down and select Mail


Select accounts


Select add account


Select other (at the bottom of the list)


Click, add mail account


Fill in information for your email.

Name: Your Name

Email: Your Bruce Telecom email address with @bmts.com

Password: Your Bruce Telecom email password

Description: Will fill in automatically

Click Next when done


Fill in the Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server Information:

Incoming Mail Server

Host Name: mail.bmts.com

Username: Your email address without @bmts.com

Password: Your Bruce Telecom email password (should already be filled in)

Outgoing Mail Server

Host Name: smtp.bmts.com

Username: Your email address without @bmts.com (says optional but is required)

Password: Your Bruce Telecom email password (says optional but is required)

Click Next when done


Once your account has been verified, you will see this screen. Click save to complete account set up. Open the Mail app from your home screen and you should see mail coming into your inbox
